Square white glass cover for the Alwaid Pro – soft, diffused light

This cover features a square milk glass window. Instead of a beam on the step, you get a softly glowing surface on the wall. The spot then becomes orientation light: enough to see the stairs, gentle enough not to disturb sleep at night.

How the light falls

The milk glass distributes the light evenly across the entire window. There is no sharp light spot and no distinct beam edge; the light spreads softly in the immediate vicinity of the spot. If you look directly into it, you see an evenly lit surface instead of a bright LED.

When do you choose glass?

Glass is the logical choice when the lighting is primarily intended to provide atmosphere and orientation, and less as task lighting on the step. Also in hallways and bedrooms, where people walk past the spot rather than looking down at it, the diffused image works more pleasantly than a focused beam.

Dimensions and material

78 x 78 x 23 mm, made of glass and polycarbonate with a white edge. Slightly larger and deeper than the aluminum covers, but it still fits well over the Ø68 mm mounting hole.

Fits the Alwaid Pro

Designed for the Alwaid Pro without a sensor (Deko-Light 931031). For the Alwaid Pro Motion with motion sensor, choose a glass cover from the Motion version.

You can always change it later

You can change the cover from the front of the spot. So you can try an aluminum cover first and switch to glass later.
