Compact Dim to Warm LED module for GU10 recessed spotlights
Are you looking for powerful recessed lighting but have limited installation space above the ceiling? This compact 9W LED module is a high-quality solution for GU10 recessed spotlights with a shallow installation depth.
The module itself has a height of only 45 mm. In combination with our PRIME GU10 or ESSENTIAL GU10 recessed fixtures, a minimum installation depth from approximately 51 mm is already possible. This makes this LED module very suitable for ceilings where a standard GU10 LED lamp is too high.
This version features a Dim to Warm function. At full power, the module emits bright warm white light of 3000K. As you dim the lighting, the light color becomes warmer and more atmospheric, down to approximately 1800K. This creates a candlelight-like effect and makes the module ideal for spaces where you want to use both functional and atmospheric light.
With a light output of 790 lumens at 3000K, this 9W LED module offers significantly more light than many standard GU10 LED light sources. The beam angle of 36 degrees provides a focused, yet pleasantly wide light distribution.
The module is very suitable for living rooms, kitchens, and other spaces with a ceiling height of up to approximately 350 cm. Due to its IP65 rating, the module is also suitable for damp areas, such as bathrooms, conservatories, and canopies, provided it is correctly applied in combination with a suitable fixture and according to the applicable installation regulations.
When do you choose a Dim to Warm LED module?
A Dim to Warm LED module is ideal when you want sufficient bright light during the day, but want to create a warmer and cozier atmosphere in the evening. Instead of just dimming the light intensity, the light color also changes.
In addition, an LED module is a good alternative to a GU10 LED lamp or MR16 halogen lamp if you want more light output, a shallower installation depth, or better heat dissipation.
This LED module works with an external LED driver. This has the advantage that the module remains more compact, can cool better, and the driver is easier to replace in case of a defect than with a module with a built-in driver.
